IT'S ABOUT TIME.
The Buzzer Buddy is the electronic tapper system you've always wanted
Benefits

Eliminate "Buzzer Beater" Controversies
If you’re tired of those last-second scoring controversies where you didn’t have a tapper and you don’t know if points were scored before time expired, the Buzzer Buddy makes all of that a thing of the past. Coaches simply do not argue with you about this.
The reality is that, no matter how great of an official you are, you will look bad if you have to ask a table worker to make an important decision that affects the match. The only way to be truly preventative in this regard is to eliminate the possibility of such situations occurring in the first place.
The Buzzer Buddy is the most practical, professional, and accessible method of ensuring this.
Enhance Your Professionalism
The optics of a towel tapper are awful — especially when an affordable, graceful solution exists to accomplish the exact same thing.
At the highest levels of officiating, everyone has good judgment. What little things can you do to set yourself apart from the rest? The Buzzer Buddy is certainly one of those things.
While we do anticipate there will many tournament administrators who will choose to provide the Buzzer Buddy to officials at their events, there’s no way you’re going to want to chance that and end up being stuck without a Buzzer Buddy at a tournament you’re officiating. In our experience, once you’ve used the Buzzer Buddy, you will never want to go back to the old way.
Reduce Table Staff
(For Tournament Administrators)
For tournament administrators, the Buzzer Buddy can also provide additional efficiency. Rather than utilizing two table workers (i.e., a scorekeeper and a towel tapper), it is entirely possible to have a single, sufficiently-trained table worker handle scorekeeping while also activating the Buzzer Buddy whenever the clock hits zero. This is because there is nothing that the scorekeeper immediately has to do when time runs out other than pressing the button on the Buzzer Buddy remote. (Any last-second points awarded can always be added to the score once wrestling action has been stopped.)
If you’re sticking with two table workers per mat, you can rest assured that one of them — no matter how inexperienced — will always be capable of doing the “digital tapping” because of how simple the Buzzer Buddy is to use.
Features

Strong Battery Life
The Buzzer Buddy has amazing battery life. What exactly does that mean? Owner and wrestling official Josh Smith puts it like this: “So, I have an intense officiating schedule of 4-6 days per week during the season, and I’m using the Buzzer Buddy for the full duration during each of these events. Despite all of this use, I only need to recharge it about once a month.” The Buzzer Buddy was designed to be exceptionally good at conserving power.
Instantaneous
(Zero Latency)
Wrestling is a sport of milliseconds; accordingly, any solution in this context must be truly instantaneous (that is, it must operate with zero latency). Nothing else is acceptable.
With the Buzzer Buddy, the vibration occurs instantaneously upon pressing the button, and it continues for a period of three seconds.

Easy to Use
Power on your Buzzer Buddy remote and receiver. Put the receiver under your wristband, give the remote to the table worker, and you’re all set. Simple.
If your table worker has not used the Buzzer Buddy before, you’ll need to give them a brief onboarding, which we call “The Spiel.” This is all fully explained in the Instruction Manual and User Guide.
Whenever you change mats, you’ll retrieve your remote from the table worker at the mat you’re leaving, and hand it to the table worker at your next mat (making sure to give them The Spiel if they have never used the Buzzer Buddy before).
Testimonials
I'm thrilled to present the first and only product on the market specifically designed and rigorously tested for officiating contexts. Best of all, it's priced affordably for individual officials.
The Buzzer Buddy boasts impressive battery efficiency. Despite my intense officiating schedule of 4-6 days per week during the season, I only need to charge it approximately once a month. Its durability is equally remarkable – both of my original devices, which received comparably heavy use during the three years of testing, still continue to function perfectly.
The Buzzer Buddy offers the mission-critical reliability and precision we require, and it does so without adding additional complexity. As someone who stakes their reputation on excellence, I personally guarantee the Buzzer Buddy's effectiveness when used as intended.
Consider, for example, those nerve-wracking situations where a last-second scoring question arises or you're forced to consult the timekeeper. With the Buzzer Buddy, these headaches become a thing of the past. At just $95.00, it's an investment in your officiating prowess and peace of mind. (It is also tax-deductible.)
For perfectionists like myself, the Buzzer Buddy elevates your officiating game to an even higher level. Spectators will marvel at your seemingly superhuman ability to call time precisely at :00 even when you're not looking at the clock. Table workers will appreciate the elimination of towel-tapping, and tournament administrators will love the increased efficiency, potentially reducing the need for additional staff.
The Buzzer Buddy is the future of tapping, and that future is now. It's about time.
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to confirm if time was still on the clock when points happened, or check with the youth wrestler who is towel-tapping if they tapped me in time. That latter situation puts a lot of pressure on a young kid, and has the unprofessional look that a match-changing decision may come down to what an 8 year-old says. With the Buzzer Buddy, these types of issues won't ever happen on your mat again.
Finally, the days of trying to hear someone yell "4-3-2-1-Time" from across a wrestling mat in a loud gym, or having a towel tapper chase the action around the mat at the most crucial of moments, are behind me!
I highly recommend the Buzzer Buddy to anyone who wants to raise their officiating to another level and take last-second scoring controversies out of the equation. This gem is worth every penny.
